# Download the Mobile Workforce Missing Participant Survey

## Download the joint Boston Research Technologies / RCH Missing Participant Survey, the industry's first survey identifying behaviors of inactive & missing participants. 

**Conducted in February 2018, the survey interviewed 1,000 inactive defined contribution (DC) plan participants.** 

**Key findings of the survey:**

- Millennials ar more likely than other to be missing participants
- Low-income households are twice as likely to have missing participants
- A significant majority of participants - 60% - would prefer an automated process to update their addresses or consolidate their accounts
- One-third of the participants in the study (includng half of Millennials) learned of a retirement savings account with a previous employer that they didn't know they had.
